Heavy machinery cuts soil out of the creek crossing to create a stable grade and prepare for the bridge supports.

7Pit     Framing 

The pits for the bridge abutments are further excavated and compacted to provide a stable substrate. 
Crews build wooden frames for the bridge footings. 

 

   
Pouring    Footing
The concrete mixers pour concrete to create the first layer of the bridge footings.
